The WSK Super Master Series land in Sarno, the Italian Circuit knows as one of the most historical and performing Karting track, all around the world.
The number of the event marks 201 drivers on the 4 class of vehicle-karts. From the 60ccMini to the OKJ and OK with 125cc as displacement and direct drive. Last, the hiper-fast 125cc KZ with gearbox.
Since from the first official activities on track from Friday, the motosport show operated by the Karting speciality, has offered an amazing and competitive show. The high number of drivers has been selected by the preliminary phase of the event between qualification practice sessions and real races as qualification heats. In the 125cc OK Italian L. Travisanutto (TonyKart/Vortex/Vega) took his first victory of the year at Sarno. The first row of the starting grid signed by spanish P. Hiltbrand (CRG/Parilla/Vega) in pole and on his side, danish N. Nielsen (TonyKart/Vortex/Vega) after the troubles suffered from italian driver F. Tiene in the morning. Italian Travisanutto try to keep the first position after a great start but is the danish Nielsen to reach the top after seven laps. The last laps of the race has been dramatic with a revolution on top due a engine problem for the leader. At the flag, is the really accurate race of Travisanutto that give to Italian driver the first victory.
For 125cc OKJ what an exciting race! Congratulations to russian I. Shvetsov (TonyKart/Vortex/Vega) for winning his race at Circuito Internazionale Napoli. First row on grid composed by the swedish Blomqvist on pole with his kart by TonyKart powered Vortex and spanish D. Vidales (Energy/Tm/Vega). Since Friday, a wide range of drivers were predicted to gain the big result in the Final. The race seem to be an affair for the poleman but at lap 9 a strange race collision took out the leader, changing the race standing. Bring the leadership the russian leading till the end with a podium composed in all the three spots by russian drivers.
For 60ccMINI Italian driver G. Minì (Energy/Tm/Vega) commands and conquers Sarno’s round of WSK Super Master Series after a race of 8 laps. First position keep by Italian since the start on grid where the little champion gained also the first spot on the grid.
125cc KZ Italian driver and former World Champion Marco Ardigò (TonyKart/Vortex/Vega) claims a stunning WSK-Sarno’s round edition 2016. Ardigò did a fantastic performance over the competirors, defending and re-reaching the top of the race in various occasion. Mention to the unlucky Lammers protagonist of the race until problem send him out. But expecially over the frenc A. Abbasse (Sodì/Tm/Vega) that close on second position. Nice race also for Italian P. De Conto from CRG.
