Karting: WSK Euro Series 2019 (ITA/ENG)

Al Circuito Internazionale Napoli secondo atto delle serie Karting WSK. Questa volta si è trattatto di una gara inaugurale. AL via l’Euro Series 2019.

Due eventi di fila. Appena dopo una settimana ancora il Karting WSK al Circuito Internazionale Napoli, dove la Euro Series torna in attività. La scorsa edizione si è svolta nel 2013.
205 piloti in pista, 45 Nazioni rappresentate e quattro classi di veicoli Karts.

L’evento è iniziato il venerdì con il programma che ha segnato le prove ufficiali. Miglior giro sull’asfalto di Sarno per il pilota della Giamaica, A. Powell (Energy / Tm / vega) nella classe 60ccMini con 1.06.521 sui 1548 metri della lunghezza del giro del Circuito. Al top per la classe OKJ 125cc, il russo N. Bedrin (TonyKart / Vortex / vega) con 59.143. Per la classe 125cc OK, il britannico D. Patterson (KR / Iame / Bridgestone) con 56.917. Ed alla fine la classe KZ2, più veloce con cambio. Miglior giro per il pilota italiano L. Camplese (TonyKart / Vortex / Bridgestone) con 56.286.
Prima delle finali della domenica e lungo il fine settimana, ben 36 gare come Manches per tutte e quattro le classi che hanno gareggiato per l’evento.

Domenica, giornata conclusiva, ha iniziato come da programma la Finale per la 60ccMini. In griglia, prima fila formata dal belga D. Dedecker (Parolin / Tm / vega) in pole e il compagno di squadra britannico W. McIntyre. 8 giri di gara e vittoria per la McIntyre del team Driver Racing Kart. Sul podio, A. Powell e l’italiano A. Filaferro su veicolo e materiali TonyKart.

Seconda finale per la classe 125 OKJ. Il russo N. Bedrin conferma durante tutto il fine settimana la sua forza e inizia la gara dalla prima piazzola. Finale in 13 giri. Bedrin conduce in vetta l’intera corsa. Dalla luce verde alla bandiera a scacchi, segnando un poi prezioso distacco dal secondo, l’olandese T. Ten Brinke e dal terzo, pilota dagli emirati J. Day. Un altro grande podio con materiali da competizione OTK-Tony.

È il turno della 125cc OK. Gara finale in 17 giri. Durante le attività del fine settimana, record sul giro di Sarnoper la classe battuto. La firma è dello scozzese D. Patterson (KR / Iame / Bridgestone) con 56.917, aggiornando quello del 2017 fatto dal francese T. Pourchaire con 56.942. Tornando alla finale, in griglia primo posto per lo svedese D. Beganovich (TonyKart / Vortex / Bridgestone). Un assolo per lui fino alla fine. Ottimo risultato anche per l’italiano L. Coluccio (BirelArt / Tm / Bridgestone) secondo e per il finlandese N. Pirttilahti.

Infine, lo spettacolo dei motori con la classe regina KZ2 con la sua finale. La griglia firma l’apice della specialità del motorsport per il Karting. Qui per i 17 giri della gara parte in testa l’italiano R. Longhi (BirelArt / Tm / Bridgestone). Luci di partenza spente e grande partenza per il finlandese S. Puhakka (Tony / Vortex / B’stone) dalla seconda fila che agguanta il vertice della corsa con Abbasse e Lammers su SodiKart ad inseguire anche se Ardigò (TonyKart / Vortex) è molto vicino ai loro paraurti. Una tenaglia della TonyKart. Celenta (Praga) beniamino di casa, scala ben 5 posizioni. Alla fine, Phuhakka sul suo TonyKart vince davanti a Lammers e Abbasse e Celenta chiude sesto. /***

WSK Euro Series 2019 begins in Sarno

Two races in a row. Just after a week again WSK Karting at Circuito Internazionale Napoli where the Euro Series back in business. Last edition was held in 2013.

205 helmets on track and the usual for a Sarno’s race four classes of vehicles Karts.
Racing event started on Friday with the schedule occupied with the official practice. Best lap on the Sarno’s surfaces for driver from Jamaica, A. Powell (Energy/Tm/vega) on 60ccMini class with 1.06.521 on the 1548 mt of Circuito’s lap length. On top for 125cc OKJ class, Russian N. Bedrin (TonyKart/Vortex/vega) with 59.143. For the 125cc OK class, British D. Patterson (KR/Iame/Bridgestone) with 56.917. At the end the KZ2 class, the faster with gearbox. Best lap for Italian driver L. Camplese (TonyKart/Vortex/Bridgestone) with 56.286.
Before the Sunday’s finals and through the weekend, 36 races, amount for all four classes involved in the event.
On Sunday new names on the leaderboard after the long series of Qualification Heats. Start as schedule with the 60ccMini. On the grid, first row with Belgian D. Dedecker (Parolin/Tm/vega) on pole and teammate British W. McIntyre. 8 laps of race and victory for the McIntyre operated by Team Driver Racing Kart. On podium, A. Powell and Italian A. Filaferro on TonyKart vehicle.
Second finals, for the 125 OKJ class. Russian N. Bedrin confirm along the weekend his strength and start from the first spot. Here the race in 13 laps. Bedrin lead the entire race. Since the green light to the chequered flag and mark a valuable gap from the second, excellent as well on podium, Dutch T. Ten Brinke and from the third, driver from Emirates J. Day. A great podium branded OTK-Tony racing materials.
It is the 125 OK’s turn for the final race. 17 laps. First of all, Sarno’s lap record broken for the class. The master is D. Patterson (KR/Iame/Bridgestone) with 56.917, smashed the one from 2017 by French T. Pourchaire with 56.942. Anyway, for the current final, first spot for Swedish D. Beganovich (TonyKart/Vortex/Bridgestone). A solo for him till the end. Great result also for Italian L. Coluccio (BirelArt/Tm/Bridgestone) second and for Finn N. Pirttilahti.
The KZ2 show on final. The grid sign the pinnacle of Karting motorsport speciality. Here for the 17 laps of finale race on top, Italian R. Longhi (BirelArt/Tm/Bridgestone). Great start for S. Puhakka (Tony/Vortex/B’stone) from second row who grab the top of the race with Abbasse and Lammers on SodiKart to chase the leader even if Ardigò (TonyKart/Vortex) is really close on their bumpers. Celenta (Praga) climb 5 position. At the end, Phuhakka on his TonyKart win ahead Lammers and Abbasse.
